Family-Friendly Approach
St. Andrew takes a family-friendly approach to just about everything. Children are welcome blessings to our growing congregation.
Though out the year, many special events are planned for children and families. Some special events take place on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. during Faith Growth hour. Others occur on a weeknight or weekend.
Celebrations to look forward to are: Education Kick-off, Reformation Event, Family Advent Event, Christmas program, Jesus' Birthday Party, Love Centers, Palm Sunday Event, and Easter Egg Hunt and Brunch.

Faith Growth Hour
KIDS POWER HOUR! All children age 3 (by Sept 1) through 5th grade will meet @ 9:30 in room 209 for “Gathering Time”. We will pray, take offering, share God sightings, celebrate birthdays, and go over general announcements. Children will then break into their rotation groups (Pre-k & Kinder, 1st-3rd, 4th & 5th) and head off to the following: Story time, Crafts, Games or Music (it’s like a mini VBS each Sunday). Children will spend 15 POWER minutes in that “center” and then rotate to the next.

Nursery
The St. Andrew nursery is open from 8:00am-noon on Sundays and is staffed with qualified caregivers. Children are always welcome at worship services, but if you would like to use our nursery, simply follow the signs out the narthex and down the hall. Cheerfully painted and well stocked with clean toys and good snacks, our nursery is designed for children 3 and under. Remember to sign your child in, and clearly label all of your child’s items so that they can be returned to you. If you have questions regarding our nursery staff or operations, please contact Alison Lanik, Director of the Children’s Learning Center, at 493-9380 or alanik@standrew-elca.org.

Faith Steps
St. Andrew's Youth and Family Ministries encourages children and youth in their faith journey, by commemorating each of the nine Faith Steps. The Faith Steps for elementary-age children are Baptism, Sunday School, First Bible, and First Communion.
